who are we?

The church

We are a group of New Testament Christians who believe that there is only one God and the Bible is his inspired word. He sent his son, Jesus to die on the cross to pay for our sins. We believe those who repent of there sins, confess Jesus as the Son of God, and are baptized are washed of there sins and added to the church by Jesus.  We worship him every Sunday by praying, congregational,  a cappella singing, preaching and teaching,  observing the Lord’s Supper to remember his sacrifice, and by giving as we have been prospered.

  1. Hear the gospel – Romans 10:17   “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
  2. Believe the gospel – Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
    John 20:30-31 “And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
  3. Repent of  sins –Acts 17:30   “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.”
  4. Confess Jesus as the son of God – Acts 8:37 “If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest.  And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God.” 
  5. Be baptized –Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
  6. Remain faithful – Revelations 2:10 “be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”
